Week 80

Don't worry, I'm not breaking mission standards, nor did I miss a week on my email. Our P-day was moved to today this week so we could go to the temple with some of the other missionaries! It's so exciting to be able to go to the temple again after so long.

MONDAY I played Magic: The Gathering for the first time in a long while. I lost every game, but it was still pretty fun. Then later that night, we had a really great phone call lesson with this media referral who really wants to learn more about our church!

TUESDAY we had a lot of small lessons with people at one of the apartment complexes in our area. It was pretty tiring because it had gotten pretty hot out, but it was also really rewarding.

WEDNESDAY we had a good time helping out at the farm. It's a ton of fun going there because you're able to hang out with a bunch of the other missionaries and do some really rewarding service. That was also when we found out about the P-day change for the temple. Then after that on the way home, we stopped by Dutch Bros to get some stickers they were giving out. Why it was cool was that when Elder Moody got his drink, they gave us an extra one for free!

THURSDAY we went on exchanges. I had a pretty regular day in their area, but they managed to put the media referral guy in my area from earlier in the week on date for baptism!

FRIDAY we had a good time at the ASL class. I really like going to it because I'm able to practice the signs that my mom taught me. We also put together a bunk bed in our room so we'd actually be able to open the closet door for once.

SATURDAY we had the monthly breakfast with the stake president's family and with all the missionaries in the stake. Missionaries will always appreciate a meal, so I always get excited as we get close to the day for the breakfast. Then we had an exchange with the zone leaders, and I went to their area. It's a Spanish area, so all I really need to do is smile and look pretty hahaha!

SUNDAY our friend Ashlin, the media referral from earlier in the week, came to church and loved it! He liked it so much that he wants to move his baptismal date to next Sunday and is willing to meet with us every day to make that happen! Also, Super Bowl was that day, so we didn't talk to too many people that evening.

MONDAY AGAIN was just a regular workday.

2 Nephi 1:15 says, "But behold, the Lord hath redeemed my soul from hell; I have beheld his glory, and I am encircled about eternally in the arms of his love."
